While Demand Response is often seen as a stand-alone business and energy saving opportunity, there are increasing awareness that an opportunity exists to intertwine these benefits with the implementations of renewable and green distributed energy. Owners adopting such strategies stand to benefit in significant ways including CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and accreditations of green building certifications such as LEED.
